A separate 2025 meta-analysis of 10 trials with 646 adults reported the same direction with clear effect sizes: a standardized effect of 1.25 for hydration and 0.61 for elasticity. If your goal is strength or size, whey, dairy, eggs, meat, fish or a balanced plant mix do the job far better.
